Incredibly Elaborate Photographs by Sandy Skoglund

Decades before Photoshop was available, American artist Sandy Skoglund started creating surrealist images by building incredibly elaborate sets, a process which took months to complete. Her works are characterized by an overwhelming amount of one object and either bright, contrasting colors or a monochromatic colour scheme.

Kiek daug laiko turėjo užtrukti suruošti vietą tokioms fotosesijoms. Už tai nutoraukos labai originalios. :)

Aha, vieta fotosesijai ruosdavo nuo keliu dienu iki savaiciu, nes reikadavo susirinkti visus -props- bet efektas ispudingas. Dar faina tai, kad fotografe net fotoshopo laikais vis dar tese savo tradicijos fotografija.

Neturėjau laiko, anei noro dideliems ir aiškiems paveiksliukams, todėl nuvilsiu, o gal ir ne, savo kasdieninio tarpšventinio ir po šventinio gyvenimo instagramom. Karšto vyno bokalėlis, puodelis nuodėmingai saldžios kakavos, šventinė ugnis ar kvailokai jaukūs močiutės katinukų snukučiai - man geriausios šventės.  No big elaborate pictures from me today, only a couple of instagrams. Those pictures, however, embody the very essence of holidays - hot beverages, warmth and coziness.

Vasara 2014

Kiekvieną vasarą Liepos pirmoje pusėje vykstu namo į Lietuvą atostogų. Tai mano gimtadienio metas, dar niekada neteko šiuo metu dirbti, visada pavykdavo gauti nors mažas atostogas. Pasisekė tiems Liepos kūdikiams. Tikrai nuostabus metas švesti gimtadienį; vidurvasaris, šilta, žalia, kvepia, dūzgia bitės, visi laimingi ir patenkinti.  Šiais metais atostogų proga nuvykome į Nidą. Kartą jau esu ten buvusi, bet dabar mane užbūrė ta neišpasakyta ramybė ir gamtos gražumas. Tikrai gražiausia vieta Lietuvoje. Nors kopos įspūdingos bei turi kažkokio nepakartojamo magnetizmo, mane labiausiai užbūrė Juodkrantės krantinė. Taip tyku, jog galima valandų valandas sėdėti ant suolo stebint švelniai raibuliuojančias bangeles. Gali būti, jog man reiketų gyventi kur nors prie vandens, o ne dūzgiančiame didmiestyje.  Pačios atostogos buvo ramios, bet turiningos. Jokių vakarėlių ar pašėlusių nuotykių, tik smagiai praleistas laikas su šeima ir senai matytais draugais. Be Nidos dar aplankiau...
